Adelaide’s city centre will be pumping over the next 10 days, as crowds flock to the biggest ever tour village for a bevy of food, drink, live music, cycling and entertainment.

The City of Adelaide Tour Village in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga offers something for all kinds of festival fans, from foodies to lovers of live music, families looking for school holiday fun to city workers in search for knock offs.

In a fitting tribute to the first Santos Tour Down Under in three years, the City of Adelaide Tour Village will be the biggest yet – drawing an influx of interstate and international visitors to the heart of the CBD.

With free entry, it will offer some of Adelaide’s leading food vendors, including Comida, Fine & Fettle, and Fiesta Tajine, as well as pop-up bars with daily drink specials, family zone with activities like LEGO Build a Bike and facepainting, and live music headlined by Vanessa Amorosi and also featuring Marlon x Rulla, DJ Ruby Chew, Tilly Tjala Thomas, Rob Edwards, and Stace Cadet.

There will be plenty on offer for cycling fans including Australia’s largest bike expo, expert panel discussions and the chance to meet elite international riders in the Team Zone.

In 2020, the Santos Tour Down Under attracted nearly 45,000 interstate visitors and injected more than $66 million into the state’s economy.

2023 is set to be South Australia’s biggest events and festivals calendar yet. It is expected that events will directly inject around $400 million into the state’s economy.

Being based in the Adelaide Hills and having roots in the Adelaide Central Market, we’re thrilled to be popping up in the CBD for what will be our first time in the tour village.
