The Support Regional Aviation Program is a great example of the South Australian Government’s commitment to investing in regional South Australia.

A key component of my Regional Roads portfolio is connecting regional communities, and regional airports and aerodromes are a key component of this. They provide a vital service for local communities by making travel across the state easier, while also playing a critical role in emergencies by giving first responders better and quicker access.

These facilities also give tourists greater access to our regions as well as providing fast freight options – particularly to get our clean green produce to market - and, as a result, grow our regional economy.

I strongly urge public airports and aerodromes in regional South Australia - don’t miss out on your chance to improve your facilities thanks to this fantastic initiative.
