The Governor of South Australia has today sworn in the Member for Reynell, Katrine Hildyard, and Member for Kaurna, Chris Picton, into State Cabinet and Executive Council.
Premier Jay Weatherill has been sworn in as Minister for the Arts, following yesterday’s resignation of Jack Snelling.
New Minister Katrine Hildyard has been sworn in to the portfolio of Disability, and as Minister Assisting the Minister for Recreation and Sport.
New Minister Chris Picton has been sworn in to the portfolios of Police, Emergency Services, Correctional Services and Road Safety and as Minister Assisting the Minister for Health, and Minister Assisting the Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse.

Member for Elder Annabel Digance has been sworn in as Minister Assisting the Premier and Member for Fisher Nat Cook has been sworn in as Minister Assisting the Minster for Housing and Urban Development.
Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis has also today been appointed as the Leader of Government Business in the House of Assembly.
