Tom Kenyon has proudly represented the electorate of Newland in the South Australian House of Assembly since 2006.
Tom was raised in Gawler and in the Adelaide Hills. He studied Asian Studies, completing a Bachelor of Arts at Flinders University. Tom subsequently completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Management at the University of South Australia.
After working in a number of positions, including as a jackaroo, storeman, a service station attendant, rouseabout, porter, union organiser, electorate officer and ministerial adviser, Tom was elected to represent the State Electorate of Newland in March 2006.
Tom is married to Tina and they have three young children, Matthew, Rachael and James. His interests include home brewing beer, skiing and playing rugby union. Tom also has a keen interest in mineral resources.
